Clooti's creators are Rachael Pollitt and Elaine Brown, a web design team based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Clooti have extensive skills in all areas of the web: accessibility, usability, concept, branding, marketing, SEO, design and build.

We have up to date knowledge of the best Content Management Systems, so we are confident in choosing the right system for any project.

Team history

Elaine Brown is a former Fine Arts graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and a post-graduate of Experimental Film and TV production (Sheffield Hallam University, Workstation).

Elaine retrained in web design and worked as a contract web designer in London for seven years, gaining extensive experience in e-commerce and image library websites. (Previous clients include Virgin Atlantic and jewellery e-tailer Icecool. )

Her responsibilities varied, covering all aspects of commercial site production: designing, developing, branding, managing and marketing e-commerce sites as well as devising and creating email newsletters and seasonal campaigns.

Rachael Pollitt is a graduate from Central St Martins School of Art (Fashion and Textiles). Rachael originally ran her own business supplying companies such as Heals and Liberty with a range of crafts. She retrained in web design then worked as senior web builder for Poptel Technology, developing HTML and CSS templates for custom built Content Management Systems. The emphasis was on producing sites at the forefront of accessibility, and websites include Visionary Design Award winners and nominees.

Clooti's combined web experience spans over 12 years.
